Hundreds of Tree Planted at 11 Courts in E. Jakarta

As many as 590 productive trees were planted at 11 open courts in East Jakarta. The planting was actually started since a month ago.

Firmansyah Wahid, Jakarta Head Dept. of Sport and Youth, said trees planting were aimed to make the court more green. Many courts in East Jakarta are still arid. It can be seen at Ciracas sport building (GOR) parking lot.
“It is hoped our effort could make the air better,” he said, Friday (3/18).

Meanwhile, Heru Haryanto, East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Sport and Youth said those 11 courts are Lapangan Cijantung, Cibubur, Lapangan Kelapadua Wetan, Klender, Cakung, Setu, Gedong, Ceger, Lubang Buaya, Gedung Serbaguna Klender and Ciracas sport building.
“Those trees were given by East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime, Fishery and Food Tenacity. We need another 1,000 trees,” he stated.
